2011 Memorial Service: Monday, May 2, 2011

The foundation hosts annual memorial ceremonies on the grounds of the State Capitol Complex in Austin. 

During odd numbered years, when the legislature is in session, the foundation hosts  both a candlelight vigil in the evening and a memorial ceremony on the following day. 

The 2011 Candlelight Service will be held on the evening on Sunday, May 1, 2011, at  the Texas Peace Officers Memorial.  The 2011 Memorial Service will be held on the morning of Monday, May 2, 2011, on the south side of the Texas Capitol.
