The
foundation hosts annual memorial ceremonies on the grounds
of the State Capitol Complex in Austin.
During odd numbered years, when the legislature is in
session, the foundation hosts both a candlelight vigil
in the evening and a memorial ceremony on the following day.
During even numbered years, a memorial ceremony is held at
the conclusion of the annual
Ride for the
Fallen.
The
2009 Candlelight Service was held on the evening on
Sunday, May 3, 2009, at the Texas Peace Officers
Memorial. The 2009 Memorial Service was held on
the morning of Monday, May 4, 2009, on the south side of the
Texas Capitol.

The DVD will feature events from
the entire weekend (May 2-4, 2009) including the Ride
for the Fallen, the Candlelight Vigil, the Parade on
Congress and the Memorial Service at the Capitol. The
